A nature, art and mindfulness experience for children

Come along for a gentle and playful morning of creativity, nature, mindfulness and connection at the beautiful Brahma Kumaris Centre for Spiritual Learning Illawarra in Wilton.

Creative Little Explorers is designed for children aged 3 years and over, with each child accompanied by a responsible adult. It’s a wonderful opportunity to slow down, explore, create and spend meaningful time together in a peaceful garden setting.

What will we explore?

Children will be invited to enjoy a variety of simple, hands-on activities, including:

🎨 Art and creative activities
🪨 Rock painting
🧘 Meditation and mindfulness
🌸 Nature-inspired exploration
☕ Refreshments and relaxed connection

There’s no need to be an artist or have any previous experience — just come ready to explore and have fun.

This is a chance for children to step away from screens and everyday busyness and experience the simple joy of making, discovering and being outdoors — alongside someone special.

Take a little time for yourself each Thursday morning and explore creativity, mindfulness, nature, and connection with Sharon Veness, Creative Arts Therapist.

These relaxed sessions are an invitation to slow down and create without pressure or expectations. Through intuitive art-making, mindful activities, gentle movement, meditation, and time in nature, you can simply follow your curiosity and see where your creativity takes you.

You don't need to be an artist or have any previous experience. Just bring yourself, an open mind, and your own intuition.
